Round Up Your Mates – Let’s Celebrate! For immediate release For the very first time the Deni - Play on the Plains Festival and World Record Ute Muster organisers are offering a new ticket price structure for 2008. “We wanted to make it affordable for everyone of all ages” by introducing a new ticket price structure including a new Family ticket and the opportunity to save dollars we felt this was the best way to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to come along and celebrate our massive 10th Birthday on Friday 3 & Saturday 4 October 2008. “Many families come along to our Festival therefore we want to make it more affordable for them”. Big plans have begun with a massive lineup of top Australian artists already signed up and others still to be confirmed. Headline acts thus far include The Living End, Lee Kernaghan, Songbirds and Steve Forde. Rock gurus The Living End have racked up a quintuple-platinum album, two platinum and five gold records, won three ARIA awards, countless other accolades and gathered fans all over the world. “It’s been far too long since we’ve played Deni so we’re excited to be heading that way again. It’s the first time we’ve ever played the Ute Muster so we’ll be sure to give it some extra grunt”, said Chris Cheney from The Living End. Multi award winning artists Gina Jeffreys, Beccy Cole and Sara Storer decided to share the stage with the concept of the Songbirds. Audiences will also be treated to some very special “trio” performances of songs chosen by the girls from their own album collections. Australian Country Music legends Lee Kernaghan and Steve Forde will be back to grace the Main Stage.
